How it works

Cancellation

• Free up to 48 hours before midnight (Sofia time) at the start of the rental day: everything you paid is refunded, including the advance.
• After that, or if the handover cannot take place because of you (no-show without notice within an hour, invalid licence or ID, age conditions not met, deposit not provided, balance not paid): 30% of the total booking amount is kept from the amounts paid (for cash payment, the advance) and the rest is refunded.
• We only cancel for a reason beyond our control (accident, breakdown, theft of the car): we then refund everything you paid, or offer an equivalent or better car for the same dates at no extra cost, if you accept it.
• Force majeure, for you as for us: nothing is kept and no compensation is due; full refund or new dates, as you prefer.
• Refunds within 14 days, to the payment method used. The deposit is not affected.

Additional charges

• Delivery · Optional: pickup is free. In Sofia (address, hotel or airport): €50 per rental, included in the total price. Elsewhere in Bulgaria: on quote.
• Fuel · The car is handed over with a full tank and must be returned full. Otherwise: €2 per missing litre; tank returned empty: flat €175 (full tank).
• Late return · Up to 30 minutes after the agreed time: no charge. More than 30 minutes and up to one hour: €100. More than one hour: each started day of delay is charged as a full day, at the rental’s daily price.
• Cleaning · From €70 (standard cleaning) to €500 (deep cleaning: stains, odours, sand), depending on the condition recorded in photos at return.
• No smoking, no pets · Smoking in our cars and carrying animals in them are forbidden. If this rule is broken: cleaning by a professional, charged at the price on their invoice and withheld from the deposit; if stains or odours remain, each further treatment is charged in the same way until the car is back in the condition in which it was handed over to you.
• Immobilisation of the car · If, through your fault, the car cannot be rented after the end of your rental (repair of damage, cleaning, impound…), each day of immobilisation is charged at the price of a rental of the same length under its rate grid, in addition to the repair: for example, 4 days of repair, the price of 4 rental days. The number of days is justified by the repairer, the cleaner or the authority. Charging continues until the car is available again (end of the repair, release from impound…), up to the value of the car shown on its page; if the deposit is not enough, you pay the rest.
• Fines · For an offence committed during the rental: a €50 handling fee per fine, plus the amount of the fine (official scale according to its severity) if we have paid it ourselves, on supporting documents. If we declare the driver to the authorities, the fine is addressed to them directly.
• Extra kilometres · Beyond the included kilometres, at the price shown in the car’s rate table.
• Leaving Bulgaria · Not allowed: the car stays in Bulgaria. If it leaves the country, a penalty of half the car’s deposit applies for less than 24 hours abroad, and of the full deposit beyond that.

No other charges apply. Damage found at return or caused during the rental: if a repair is needed, we keep the deposit and send you the report and the repair quote from the brand’s dealership justifying the amount withheld (less any insurance payment received), together with the days of immobilisation; the rest of the deposit is returned to you. If the repair costs more than the deposit, you pay the difference. These charges, and any amount beyond the deposit, are paid by card or bank transfer, never in cash.
