Deposit · €15,000

The amount depends on the car (from €2,000 to €30,000). Your choice: a bank transfer, or cash against a receipt if it is below the legal cash payment limit (€5,112.92); above that, by bank transfer. At handover and at return, we carry out a time-stamped photo and video inspection together; the deposit is returned one to two weeks after the return, once the full mechanical check of the car is done, if no damage is found. If there is damage, the amount justified by the repair quote from the brand’s dealership, less any insurance payment received, is withheld and the rest is returned to you. For an accident for which you are responsible, you pay at most the amount of the deposit, days of immobilisation included, except in the event of a serious fault (clause 10.4 of the terms and conditions). Days on which, through your fault, the car cannot be rented after your rental (repair, cleaning, impound) are also charged: see the additional charges.

Cancellation

Free up to 48 hours before midnight (Sofia time) at the start of the rental day: everything you paid is refunded, including the advance.
After that, or if the handover cannot take place because of you (no-show without notice within an hour, your licence or ID invalid, age conditions not met by you, deposit not provided, balance not paid): 30% of the total booking amount is kept from the amounts paid (for cash payment, the advance) and the rest is refunded.
We only cancel for a reason beyond our control (accident, breakdown, theft of the car): we then refund everything you paid, or offer an equivalent or better car for the same dates at no extra cost, if you accept it.
Force majeure, for you as for us: nothing is kept and no compensation is due; full refund or new dates, as you prefer.
Refunds within 14 days, to the payment method used. The deposit is not affected.

Pickup or delivery

Free pickup in Sofia: after payment, we send you the address on WhatsApp, depending on where the car is. Delivery to your hotel or your address in Sofia: €50 per rental; to Sofia Airport: €100. Elsewhere in Bulgaria, on quote. Starting the same day: allow one hour of preparation after payment.

Additional charges

Delivery · Optional: pickup is free. In Sofia: €50 per rental to an address or hotel, €100 to the airport, included in the total price. Elsewhere in Bulgaria: on quote.
Additional driver · Optional: €15 per rental day, one additional driver per rental, on the same age and licence requirements. It can only be chosen at booking and is included in the total price, paid with the rental. Withdrawn in writing up to 48 hours before midnight (Sofia time) at the start of the first rental day: nothing is due; later, or if they do not attend the handover, come without their original documents or do not have the required age or licence: 30% of their price remains due. No discount applies to it.
Fuel · The car is handed over with a full tank and must be returned full. Otherwise: €2 per missing litre; tank returned empty: flat €175 (full tank).
Late return · Up to 30 minutes after the agreed time: no charge. More than 30 minutes and up to one hour: €100. More than one hour: each started day of delay is charged as a full day, at the rental’s daily price.
Cleaning · From €70 (standard cleaning) to €500 (deep cleaning: stains, odours, sand), depending on the condition recorded in photos at return.
No smoking, no pets · Smoking in our cars and carrying animals in them are forbidden. If this rule is broken: cleaning by a professional, charged at the price on their invoice and withheld from the deposit; if stains or odours remain, each further treatment is charged in the same way until the car is back in the condition in which it was handed over to you.
Immobilisation of the car · If, through your fault, the car cannot be rented after the end of your rental (repair of damage, cleaning, impound…), each day of immobilisation is charged at the price of a rental of the same length under its rate grid, in addition to the repair: for example, 4 days of repair, the price of 4 rental days. The number of days is justified by the repairer, the cleaner or the authority. Charging continues until the car is available again (end of the repair, release from impound…), up to the value of the car shown on its page; if the deposit is not enough, you pay the rest.
Fines · For an offence committed during the rental: a €50 handling fee per fine, plus the amount of the fine (official scale according to its severity) if we have paid it ourselves, on supporting documents. If we declare the driver to the authorities, the fine is addressed to them directly.
Extra kilometres · Beyond the included kilometres, at the price shown in the car’s rate table.
Leaving Bulgaria · Not allowed: the car stays in Bulgaria. If it leaves the country, a penalty of half the car’s deposit applies for less than 24 hours abroad, and of the full deposit beyond that.
No other charges apply. Damage found at return or caused during the rental: if a repair is needed, we keep the deposit and send you the report and the repair quote from the brand’s dealership justifying the amount withheld (less any insurance payment received), together with the days of immobilisation; the rest of the deposit is returned to you. No charge for damage for which you are in no way responsible; accident for which you are responsible: at most the amount of the deposit; serious fault (clause 10 of the general terms): the full amount, even beyond the deposit. These charges, and any amount beyond the deposit, are paid by card or bank transfer, never in cash.

Insurance

All our cars are insured: compulsory motor third-party liability insurance and Kasko insurance, which allows rental use.

The Kasko own-damage insurance covers only damage for which the renter is not responsible: an accident caused by a third party, vandalism, fire, short circuit or explosion, theft with violence.

You pay nothing for damage for which you are in no way responsible, nor for theft of the vehicle while locked with the alarm activated, if you have kept the keys and documents and reported it to the police within 24 hours.

An accident for which you are responsible, or a natural disaster (hail, flood, etc.) in case of negligence: you pay for the repair and the days of immobilisation, at most the amount of the deposit.

Serious fault — invalid licence, alcohol or drugs, any breach of the traffic rules that caused the damage (even speeding by less than 10 km/h), unauthorised driver, intentional damage, leaving the scene of an accident, racing, gross negligence, vehicle unlocked or alarm not activated, repair without our consent: you pay for the entire loss, court costs and the days of immobilisation, less any insurance payment.

Abnormal wear of brakes, tyres and other wear parts caused by abusive use is also charged to you: parts and labour on a quote from the brand’s dealership, and the days of immobilisation.
